2. Principle: processing takes place exclusively on your device
Binjitsu has been deliberately designed so that no personal data is transmitted to us or to third parties. The app requires no user account, contains no advertising and uses no analytics or tracking services.
All data generated within the app, in particular your learning progress, scores, settings and the results of the adaptive learning feedback, is stored and processed exclusively locally on your device. The AI-assisted evaluation of your learning status also takes place entirely on the device (on-device processing); no data is transmitted to servers for this purpose.
We have no access to this data. It is removed when you delete the app.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are concluded and billed through the Apple App Store. Apple is the contracting party and payment processor. We do not receive any personal payment data from Apple, only anonymised transaction confirmations used to unlock content. Apple's privacy policy applies in addition.
4. App Store and operating system
Independently of our app, Apple may process data as part of operating the App Store (for example downloads, updates, crash reports and usage statistics, provided you have consented to sharing them with developers in your iOS settings). This processing is Apple's responsibility. We receive statistics provided by Apple exclusively in aggregated, non-personal form.
5. Classroom code
The optional classroom code is used to unlock content for shared learning in courses. When entered, the code is verified locally; no personal data is collected or transmitted.
6. No disclosure and no transfer to third countries by us
As we do not collect any personal data, we neither disclose data to third parties nor transfer it to third countries.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you generally have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77). As we do not process any personal data about you, we can generally only respond to access and erasure requests by confirming that no data is held; for data processed by Apple, please contact Apple.
